Setting The Stage With Stunning Florals & Décor

With a passion for floral design and creative expertise, Philip Sammut’s team of decorators are highly-skilled, creative and insured designers that set Pedestals Floral Decorators apart from the rest. From lavish weddings and milestones to corporate events and charities, our designers will work hand-in-hand with you to create show-stopping florals and stunning décor.

Pedestals Floral Decorators has designed wedding and event florals from our Garden City Park showroom since 1993. Founded by Philip Sammut, our team of trained and insured designers creates everything from bridal bouquets and ceremony arches to full reception styling, lighting, draping, and structural installations. We work with couples at every Long Island venue, from waterfront estates in the Hamptons to grand ballrooms in Nassau County and private gardens across the North Shore. Our work has been featured in People, Inside Weddings, InStyle Weddings, and on television shows including Platinum Weddings. Whether you are planning an intimate backyard ceremony or a 400-guest celebration, your consultation starts with one call. Reach us at (516) 248-5300.

Setting The Stage With Stunning Florals & Décor

Bridal
Bouquets

Your bouquet is the one arrangement you carry all day and see in every photo. We design hand-tied, cascading, and structured bouquets using seasonal blooms matched to your palette and gown. Matching bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages complete the bridal party.

Ceremony
Flowers

The aisle, the altar, the arch. Ceremony florals frame the most photographed moment of your day. We design floral arches, chuppahs, aisle markers, and pew arrangements tailored to your venue’s architecture and your ceremony style

Reception
Centerpieces

Every table needs a centerpiece that fits the room without blocking conversation. We build low arrangements, tall structural pieces, candle groupings, and mixed greenery runners designed to scale with your reception space.

Corporate
Events

Galas, product launches, holiday parties, and charity fundraisers. We handle large-scale installations with the same attention we bring to weddings. Branded color matching, logo-incorporated designs, and on-site styling included

Full Event
Styling

Florals are only part of the picture. We provide custom draping, uplighting, furniture rentals, balloon installations, and structural decor that ties your entire event together. One team handles it all, from concept sketches to breakdown.

Destination
Weddings

We travel. Vineyard weddings in the Hudson Valley, beachfront ceremonies in the Hamptons, estate receptions in Connecticut, and destination events beyond the tri-state. Our logistics team handles transport, climate-appropriate flower selection, and on-site setup wherever you celebrate.

Our commitment to our customers:

Passion. Creativity. Expertise. Impeccable Service.

Philip Sammut founded Pedestals Floral Decorators in 1993 with a simple idea: treat every wedding like a piece of art, not an assembly line. Thirty years later, our team includes trained and insured designers who specialize in large-scale installations, intimate tablescapes, and everything between. We have been featured in People, Inside Weddings, InStyle Weddings, and Manhattan Bride, and appeared on Platinum Weddings and Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway. That kind of national recognition does not come from repeating the same centerpiece. It comes from listening to each couple, understanding their venue, and building something original every time.

Long Island weddings have their own character. Salt air on South Shore venues changes how certain flowers hold up. North Shore estate ceilings run 18 to 22 feet, which means centerpieces need to scale or they disappear. Garden receptions in spring deal with wind that topples lightweight arrangements. We have worked every major venue type on Long Island and know which flowers perform in which conditions. Your consultation starts at our showroom on Herricks Road in Garden City Park, where you can see samples, review portfolios, and walk through your vision with a designer before we quote anything.

SERVICE AREA

We design and install for weddings and events across the full tri-state area. Our showroom is in Garden City Park on Long Island, and we regularly work at venues in Westbury, Great Neck, Roslyn, Oyster Bay, Huntington, and throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

We travel to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island for NYC events. New Jersey weddings from Jersey City to Princeton are part of our regular schedule.

We also handle destination work in the Hudson Valley, Connecticut, and beyond. If your venue is outside this area, call us anyway. We have designed weddings as far as Florida, California, and the Caribbean.
